Astrosling

The Astrosling as a concept is the equivalent of the Viking Longship for its time.
By making a fairly simple adjustment to the trireme, the Vikings were able
to suddenly travel across the wide ocean. Connecting the mast to a heavy keel
meant stability in heavy storms. The descendants of the Vikings continued
to develop ship-building throughout the west and thereafter the west has
dominated history.

The Astrosling, is s similar revolution in thinking. Its all about stability in
transferring energy as an oscillation, rather than as a fixed process.
By simply rotating a launch device, energy is conserved such that a velocity
of light-speed can be achieved after accelerating at 1 gee for 1 year.
